Stile Cop bike park is home to Cannock Chase’s only downhill trails, with around a dozen trails to choose from over varying difficulty levels. Despite having only 65 meters of elevation, the hill has a wide variety of trails to keep riders busy. Each run lasts around a minute, but there’s enough to keep you busy for a good many hours.
Construction of the official trail network started in 2003, and from 2004 until 2015 Chase Trails worked with the Forestry Commission to develop and maintain the trails, securing them for the future and bringing some of the older unofficial trails up to a safe standard.
In 2016, the Racers Guild of Cannock Chase took over the building and maintenance work at Stile Cop. You can find more information on the Stile Cop website – including details of the trails, videos, and info on their build days.Stile Cop Downhill Trails
